Halla, a 50-year-old independent woman, wages a secret war on the aluminum industry which is damaging the local environment. She receives a letter that changes everything, there is a little girl in the Ukraine waiting to be adopted by her. Films are shown in the Nordic Hall at the Scandinavian Living Center (SLC). Admission, refreshments, and parking are free, although donations are welcome. The SLC is handicapped accessible.
Films start at 1:30 p.m. Refreshments for attendees are served at 1 p.m. Lunch (not included) is available in the Kaffestuga, which is open until 3 p.m. every Saturday.
